Dennis Connor sails in the background as Jim Kelly and Peter Isler provide live commentary during ESPN’s coverage of the America’s Cup.  Of particular challenge in this job was getting the signals to shore.  In most cases microwave technology was employed for sending signals directly to shore or “hop” it to shore via the Goodyear blimp.
